01When people look for it
Therapeutic massage is what people look for when there is a specific problem: a neck stiff from hours at a desk, shoulders that stay up all week, lower-back pain that returns every few months, an old strain that never fully cleared. Unlike a relaxing massage it does not run a set routine — it goes to the area causing the trouble and works on the cause of the tension, not only on how you feel afterwards.
02What we call it
Our therapeutic treatment is called Deep 1 — the same thing others call a deep tissue massage: firm pressure and work on the deeper layers. It runs 60, 90 or 120 minutes at Golubačka 1 in Vračar, a short walk from the city centre.
03What firm pressure does
Deep 1 works the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue with slow strokes and firm pressure. The goal is not comfort during the session but what remains afterwards: releasing the spots that lighter techniques never reach.
04Who it suits
It is mostly booked by people with chronic tension in the back, shoulders and neck — from desk work, driving or physical labour. Mild soreness the next day is normal, much like after a workout, and it passes within a day or two with water and light movement.
05Harder is not better
Harder is not better. If the sensation turns sharp rather than dull, tell your therapist to ease off — the treatment still does its job. If this is your first strong session, start with 60 minutes focused on the upper body.
