Every holiday arrives sooner than you think

Here is how long is left until the next occasion and what people actually give for it. And since the voucher arrives by email right after payment, even the last day isn't late.

Buy a voucher

Someone always has a birthday — and the voucher arrives by email the same minute, whatever the date.

What people give for which holiday

Drawn from what is actually bought here — which treatment works for which day, and when it makes sense to get it.

31 December

New Year

December is the strongest gift month of the year and the only one where vouchers are bought three and four at a time — for family, for a team, for close friends. If you want to print the voucher and slip it into a card, get it by 30 December. If not, eleven in the evening on the 31st is early enough.

7 January

Orthodox Christmas

Christmas is a quieter occasion than New Year and the gift is usually single but more considered. Longer massages work best here — ninety minutes rather than sixty — because what is being given is calm, not an event.

14 February

Valentine's Day

The couples massage is the only gift that day which isn't eaten and doesn't wilt. It is done in one room, at the same time, with two therapists. Slots around 14 February fill up first — you can take the voucher on the day itself, but book the slot as soon as you have it.

8 March

International Women's Day

The day Belgrade buys the most flowers that wilt within three days. A massage costs the same and lasts until it is used. If you are giving to colleagues, a voucher for an amount is safest because it assumes nothing.

any time

Birthday

The one occasion that doesn't wait for a calendar. If the person has been here before, give a longer treatment than the one they took last time — that registers more than a pricier one-hour massage.

your date

Anniversary

An anniversary calls for time together, not an object. A couples massage is remembered as an evening out, and that makes it more convincing than anything that fits in a box.

/ When to buy

The voucher has no deadline — the calendar does

The one thing worth knowing before you buy a gift for a holiday.

The voucher — any time

It arrives by email right after payment and has no date by which it must be used. For the voucher itself there is no such thing as too late.

The slot — a week ahead

Around holidays, slots fill seven to ten days in advance. The gift works better if the person books as soon as they receive it rather than when they remember.

Printing — a day ahead

If you want the voucher on paper inside a card, leave yourself a day. If not, a phone screen is just as good and just as valid.

/ Common questions

Holiday questions

Is the voucher still valid after the holiday?

It is. Our vouchers never expire, so a gift given for New Year is used just as happily in March if that suits the person who received it.

I'm buying for a holiday but don't know when she could come. Is that a problem?

It isn't. The voucher is bought without a slot — the appointment is chosen later, once the person who received it can see their own schedule.

The holiday is today. Is there any point?

There is. The voucher arrives by email the moment the payment clears, so it can be printed or forwarded within minutes.
